IDOR (In-iversial Development Of Ras Tafari) is a charitable organization rooted deeply within the Ras Tafari community of the DC-Maryland-Virgina (“DMV”) metropolitan region. Established with a commitment to communal development, spiritual unity, and global upliftment, IDOR has evolved into a beacon of collective progress and solidarity.
Mission and
Objectives
The I-niversal Development of Ras Tafari, Inc (“IDOR”) was established and incorporated to promote, advance, and implement the teachings and life example of Emperor Haile Selassie I and Her Highness Menen Asfaw as the means to restore the pride and human dignity of African people in Africa and through the Diaspora, and as the means through which the “legitimate aspirations” of the poor may be attained.
